Contact me through the contact or order form and I will get back in touch with you. The first thing I need is to see the photos you’d like me to work from. For tips on how to photograph your pet, check out my dedicated page. Also, take a look at my FAQ’s where I go into more detail on what photographs are best for me to work from.
We agree on your requirements, you confirm the size and medium you’d like and the delivery schedule. Let me know if you need it quickly and I’ll do my best to accommodate. I then create a mock up of your pet / wildlife portrait. This is emailed to you so that you have an idea of what the finished artwork will look like.
Once you’re happy with the mock up of your pet / wildlife portrait, I then ask for a 50% deposit. I add you to my commissions list and give you an estimated delivery date. Normally pastel drawings are delivered within approximately 4 weeks and oil paintings around 8 weeks. I will send you updates of the work in progress and add them to my blog and Facebook pages where they can be viewed. However, if you don’t want me to do either of these then please let me know on ordering.
Once your pet / wildlife portrait has been completed and you approve of it, I will ask for the final payment which you can either pay by BACS, Paypal or cheque through the post. I will then post your finished portrait to you using Royal Mail Special Delivery.
